Terms Of Service
First-time clients are requested to purchase a 60 minute block of time at our Online Store in order to secure their first appointment. The entire amount of monies prepaid online will be credited to the appointment. If an appointment is cancelled at least forty-eight hours before the appointment time, the entire amount that was prepaid will be refunded. If the appointment is cancelled or re-scheduled after forty-eight hours, the prepayment will not be refunded. To avoid being charged for a missed appointment, forty-eight hours notice is required for appointment cancellation or re-scheduling.
Dr. David McKenzie's services as a Registered Clinical Counsellor are covered by many extended health providers. Please speak to your extended health care provider to see if your counselling is covered by your company's plan. Dr. McKenzie is an approved counselling therapist for the R.C.M.P. Health Services.
The number of counselling sessions required varies greatly. However, most counselling requires somewhere between six and twelve sessions. We would hope that clients and couples would see their counselling as an important investment in both their relationship and in their future together.
Online credit card payment is offered on the website of Dr. David McKenzie for pre-payment purposes for first-time clients and for purchasing e-books and other items at his store. Third-party payment processing fees apply (service provided by PayPal) except when pre-payment is requested by Dr. McKenzie for the first session only. Fee payments are due and payable at the end of each session by means of cash, cheque, credit card or Interac (Interac in Langley office only).
